Four years after the release of Spectator Judging®, equestrian sports fan engagement is being revolutionized again. The Spectator Judging® League involves fans even more with a gamified live experience. Spectator Judges gather points on a global leaderboard for judging actively and accurately. The live ranking is available at any time and spectators all across the world compete against each other to climb to the top of the leaderboard. Amazing prizes await the winner in the end.
We kicked off a great start with the FEI eLeague, powered by SAP during the Western European Dressage World Cup™ Season 2018/2019. Dressage fans on site and worldwide judged the competing riders during World Cup™ Grand Prix and Freestyle at eight qualifying shows. Points were rewarded for judging in the different modes (Quick-, Short-, Full-, Individualized Mode), for being active and accurate and many further interactions.
Claudia from Lima, Peru, won the very first FEI eLeague, powered by SAP and received an outstanding prize: she and her daughter were flown in to Gothenburg for the FEI World Cup™ Finals 2019, including Hotel and VIP treatment.
Continuing the idea in 2019, the Event Rider Masters Season 2019 debuts the ERM Fan League. Spectators on site and at home gather points for judging the competing eventing riders at the 6 Legs in the Spectator Judging® App:
1. Leg: Chatsworth (11 & 12 May 2019)
2. Leg: Wiesbaden (7 & 8 June 2019)
3. Leg: Arville (22 & 23 June 2019)
4. Leg: Haras de Jardy (13 & 14 July 2019)
5. Leg: Millstreet (23 & 24 August 2019)
Final Leg: Lignières (5 & 6 October 2019)
The leaderboard can be climbed by interacting with Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony Charity, Spectator Judging® App and Equirating’s Stacks. One lucky winner will be rewarded with an amazing prize in the end of the season.
